Art Director

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Art Director handles all aspects of layout and art direction and ensures that the output is only of the best and highest quality. He/She creates all editorial pages in coordination with the editorial department. He/She translates art and copy visually and ensures that all designs are error-free and meet standard offset printing requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Fine Arts, Multi-Media Arts, Information Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or Advertising;
  • At least three (3) years experience in design and publication—preferably with exposure in ad agency work, magazine or newspaper publishing, photography and production;
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communications skills;
  • Proficient in using MAC and PC - Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator;

Managing Editor

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Managing Editor partners with the Editor-in-Chief to establish editorial direction and maintain the magazine’s overall aesthetic, voice and content. He/she should manage and oversee team members’ activities and deliverables, as well as day-to-day operations to ensure quality and timely delivery of the magazine. He/she is also responsible for establishing and sustaining positive and professional relations with contributors, industry collaborators, and featured personalities and/or establishments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College Degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years relevant editorial experience;

Marketing Manager

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Manager for Strategic Brand Development shall accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; and managing staff.

  • College graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication Arts, Research or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience;

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Account Executive is primarily responsible in obtaining sales for the different business platforms of the company such as print, digital, and TV of assigned magazine titles of One Mega Group. He/She handles the procurement of sales leads, product presentations, account servicing, and ensures that all documents relative to the client’s advertising placement are complete and satisfactorily executed on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Business Management, Marketing, Communication Arts, or any business-related course;
  • With at least one (1) year experience in sales preferably with exposure in media, retail or realty, FMCG, fashion and marketing;
  • Has experience in creating concepts and marketing design directly with clients;
  • Has the ability to work independently, metrics-driven, detail-oriented, very organized and able to work well under pressure;
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Has proven track record on ability to meet deadlines and quota;

Assistant Editor

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Assistant Editor assists the Associate Editor with the day-to-day operations and administrative duties to guarantee the timely delivery of the magazine. He/she is also responsible for producing content assigned by the Managing or Associate Editors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, Literature, Humanities or any related course;
  • At least 2 years editorial experience;
  • Interest in and exposure to areas relevant to food – cooking, baking, and writing recipes;

Copywriter

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Copywriter is in charge of conceptualizing, and developing creative event concepts for assigned projects. He/She is tasked to provide write-ups or copy for creative executions, advertorials and PR ventures. He/She is expected to collaborate and partner closely with the art or visual staff to ensure alignment of concepts. He/She is also responsible for creating presentations based on the agreed overall concept/s with Sales and Creatives Departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Journalism, Communication Arts, Literature or any related course;
  • At least one (1) year related experience preferably in an ad agency and/or scriptwriting for events;

Graphic Artist

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Graphic Artist is responsible in layouts for creative executions, advertorials, and marketing collaterals. He/She executes conceptual layout design or presentation approach. He/She is also expected to provide recommendations, specify and implement material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, video and sound.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Multimedia Arts, Information Design or any related course;
  • Knowledge in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator;

HR Assistant

BASIC FUNCTION:

The HR Assistant is responsible for assisting various units of HR such as, but not limited to, Benefits Administration, Records Management, Recruitment, and Employee Engagement. He/She provides overall administrative support to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Behavioral Science or any related course;
  • Must have exposure in all HR aspects/functions such as benefits, employee engagement, employee onboarding, recruitment, etc.;

HR Generalist

BASIC FUNCTION:

OMG’s HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HR Service Delivery, Internal Communications, and Employee Services. These areas include but not limited to employee records management, contracts management, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee activity planning and deployment, and benefits administration.

Tasks include but not limited to:

  • Spearhead creation and deployment of all HR-related internal communications
  • Maintain employee records or 201 files and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Process employee requests on personal records such as Certificate of Employment, Performance Management, and the like
  • Prepare reports on employee movements such as lateral movements, regularization, and attrition
  • Facilitate the exit and clearance process for the resigned, terminated and separated employees
  • Process employee benefits – statutory and company-initiated – which includes but not limited to remittances, loan requests, engagement with providers for company perks.
  • Communicate with the HR Team in overseeing corporate events such as company outings, Christmas parties, general assemblies, theme days and other recreational activities to boost employee morale
  • Facilitate the New Hire Orientation sessions and provide administrative assistance throughout the rest of the employee onboarding process
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company in conducting surveys and general HR audits to ensure calibration on the interpretation of HR policies and procedural compliance


  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Relevant Experience: You have at least a year of solid work experience in human resource management functions specifically in Employee Services and Benefits, and Industrial/Labor Relations
    • Expertise: You display deep knowledge of Compensation & Benefits and HR best practices
    • Business Ethics: You are able to demonstrate initiative, good judgment, impartiality, confidentiality and assertiveness
    • Presence: Ability to interact effectively with co-associates in all levels of the organization. With very good counseling, facilitation, and presentation skills.

     

    Photographer

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The photographer is responsible for taking shots of objects, people, places, etc. in various styles based on the concept or campaign assigned. He is also expected to be a lighting expert and uses natural or artificial light to enhance a photograph. He is also accountable for selecting, recommending, and editing the photos taken prior to submission to the client/s.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Multi-media Arts or the like;
    • Knowledge with Advanced Photography & Basic Video;
    • Knowledge of photo editing;
    • Knowledge of basic camera maintenance;
    • Good visual and verbal communication;
    • Must be highly organized and focused to handle multiple projects in a day;
    • Experience working directly with clients;

    Video Editor

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Video Editor is responsible for the finalization (cutting/splicing, and consolidation) of videos taken from various shoots. He/She is expected to layout the basic story line of the show or audio visual presentation (AVP) based on guidelines set. He/She works closely with the Producer, Writer, Department Head, and Head of Creatives to ensure delivery of product based on agreed aesthetic.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • College graduate of Multimedia Arts, Photography, Film, Mass Communications. If undergrad, must attain at least 2nd year college level with a minimum of 2 years related experience;
    • Proficient in editing software such as Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other editing software as needed;
    • Online edit know-how is an advantage;
    • Must possess good visual and verbal communication skills, and a visual storyteller;
    • Knowledge of broadcast rules, regulations, guidelines are a plus;
    • Has the ability to work independently and with a team, deadlines-driven, detail-oriented, very organized, and able to work well under pressure;
    • Willing to work long hours;

    Jr. Web Developer

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Jr. Web Developer assists and coordinates with the Special Executions team, and the other members of the Web Development Team in completing special projects assigned. He/She is expected test and troubleshoot products and applications to ensure all details or functionalities are working. He/She is also in charge of the documentation of changes and developments made; processes and application instructions, ready for turnover to stakeholders. The Jr. Web Developer provides updated information and share best practices to the team necessary to improve and add to existing revenue streams.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Graduate of Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science or any related course;
    • Must have an advanced knowledge on WordPress development, PHP programming, Web Security and in usability testing tools;
    • Strong background in web Quality Assurance (QA);
    • Must be adept in documentation of processes and in application instructions;
    • Knowledge on either mobile application development, JAVA Script & AJAX and Database Management System is a plus;

    Motor Pool Officer

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Admin Officer for Motor Pool is responsible in ensuring that all company vehicles (vans, cars, and motorcycles) including those assigned in Logistics are in good running condition at all times thru proper planning and organization. He shall record and update on daily basis, the inventory of all vehicles; monitor daily trips, gas consumption, consumable items and other miscellaneous fees. He shall plan ahead for the preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) and insurance coverage and renewal of the LTO registration. He shall be the custodian for all motor pool keys and fleet card of each vehicle. He must be able to train drivers and strictly enforce policies of the department.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Graduate of any 4 year course;
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience work experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance and any related field;
    • Must have knowledge in basic vehicle trouble shooting and well-informed in the latest traffic laws;
    • Experienced in creating reports, and budget management
    • Proficient in MS applications;

    IT Technical Support Engineer

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The IT Technical Support Engineer attends to reported issues regarding workstations in multiple platforms. He/She is responsible for set-up and deployment of workstation and other IT peripherals. He/She must know how to install, repair, re-configure application in workstation. The IT Technical Support Engineer is in charge of desktop maintenance, asset inventory, and must conduct annual desktop maintenance. He/She must ensure all workstations are configured based on standards and escalate issues to immediate head/or application team. The IT Assistant should update end-users on the progress of reported issues and provide technical report/evaluation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related course;
    • At least one (1) year experience in technical support engineering;
    • Proficient & skilled in computer hardware, software and servers;
    • Knowledgeable in both Apple and Windows computers;
    • Has good communication skills;

    INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the Company's Auditing processes and functions.

  • Audits financial and operational activities across the organization
  • Supports departmental goals, and manage projects within the Internal Audit Department.
  • Checks efficiency and effectiveness of internal control processes of the company.
  • Creates, implements and ensures compliance to internal policies and workflows with various departments in the company
  • Ensures compliance of all departments to policies and procedures mandated by Philippine Laws
  • Develops and maintains constructive business relationships with all levels of management and operational employees


  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Professional License (Certified Internal Auditor)
    • At least three (3) years experience in general accounting and audit in a managerial level.

    Community Manager

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Community Manager is responsible for strengthening the online presence of One Mega Group’s Print assets through the social networks – Facebook, Twitter & Snapchat and Instagram. S/he conceptualizes campaigns and creates promos dedicated for each brand’s account. S/he is expected to provide proper and suitable content for each account and must come up with creative executions that in due course will bring in an increase on the number of followers on these networks.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • Graduate of Advertising/Media, Mass Communication, Marketing or Certificate on Digital Media or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year experience in marketing or advertising
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Tech and Social Media savvy
    • Has an idea on digital media advertising and promotions
    • Highly creative and able to visualize and conceptualize

    Integrated Marketing Communications Associate

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    The Integrated Marketing Communications Associate is responsible for developing holistic and integrated concepts and campaigns for One Mega Group brands in a multi-platform approach. S/he is tasked to provide concept and event decks needed for each project. S/he supervises and coordinates with the department on the creative executions of various collateral requirements, such as advertising pages, radio plugs, videos, web contents, posters and flyers, program scripts and other related materials.
